Tia smiled. "Yes really! I lived in this swamp all my life and have always wanted adventure...So that's what I'll get if I go with you!!!"

Tia smiled. "Ay, I am Captain Barbossa..." she said with a smile.

Tia smiled. "Well what else would I call you? Captain are usually the heads of ships and they use their last names...Barbossa is yours...so what else would I call you Captain?"

"Tia, I want to let you know that I will protect you. But I feel as though that I must be honest with you. I love you and I don't wish to hurt you, but you see, my father told me a story of a young, beautiful sea goddess named Calypso who lived in a swamp just like this one. He even gave me a drawing of her," he said. From his pocket he pulled out a piece of old parchment. On it was a drawing that resembled Tia. "I think that you are her. My father taught me how to bind her into this bottle." Hector pulled out a multi colored bottle. He held it up for Tia to see and then smashed the bottle to the ground. "I don't want to bind you, if you are her. And if you aren't her, I don't want to bind the real goddess. I think that she should be free to rule the sea as she pleases."

Tia was taken aback by this and smiled. She knew she was the goddess Calypso and in turn was happy to know that he didn't want to keep her bound like all other pirates did. She smiled and hugged him. "Thank you so much!!!" she told him.

He knew then that this was indeed the goddess Calypso. He returned her embrace. "They told me that you were evil and more of a demon than a goddess. But to me, you're not only a goddess, but also an angel," he said. "And you're prettier than the picture."

Calypso smiled and blushed lightly. "Oh...Hector..." she said before lightly kissing his cheek. "I thank you for not binding me...I'll keep you safe forever."

He blushed a deep red. He gulped and then said: "Can I name my ship after you, o jewel of the sea?" he asked.
