Nero couldn't help but grin smugly as he said, "It's my specialty. If it's a charm, I can cast it. Or learn to quickly."

Jade smiled at him. "I'm sure you'll be a total show-off." she said still smiling before going off and looking about the class room. Her reputation for meanness would most likely not be harmed since none of her friends were in this class with her and none of the other Slytherins would dare spread a rumor.

Nero shook his head. "Not really, I tend to not try and draw attention to myself... I mostly just practice in private; sometimes with the professor."

(I.....Don't know....No idea, I don't even know if the books tell you that now that I think of it...) Jade smiled. "I suppose that's one reason why you're in your house and I'm in mine." she stated. It seemed like his house was good at keeping attention from themselves, even if it was good attention. Slytherins on the other hand, they loved to boast and show off.

Nero shrugged, and took out his book. Prof. Flickwit (I think that was his name, right?) began to teach them about a few new spells, and Nero was catching on very quickly.

(Correct.) Jade was having a slightly harder time but soon enough got it as well. Charms wasn't her stongest class, but she found the bit of a challenge slightly fun.
