(No problem, it's not Moon Speak so it works. ^-^)
Jass listened to her, and almost as soon as she finsihed speaking said, "My job, if you can call it that, drags me all over this end of the world! Sometimes I even need to track down my target, because my client won't know where he or she is... I think the longest I ever spent hunting someone down was three months. Turns out the person was in China!"

(*Cocks head* Moon Speak? Never heard that term before...) "China???" she asked, her interest sparked. "What's it like over there? I mean you must have enjoyed some of the life over there while you tried to find the person..."

(Moon Speak is anything I don't get. Nick uses it to reffer to comic strips still in Japanesse. >.> <.<)
Jass nodded. "It amazing. Not a good place to live, but wonderful to visit. Things are pretty cheap over there, and they really do have some great food there. I went their on their New Year, so there were decorations everywhere. It was splendid... There were dragon kites, fireworks, and paper lanters."

(Oh, okays...) Adonia imagined it and smiled. "That must have been pretty nice..." she said before her imagination gave up on the image and her smile faded slowly.

Jass paused a moment, and carefully said, "If you'd like... Maybe, instead of just going back home after the wedding is cancelled... You could, well... Stay with me? I promise I'd treat you nicely, and since we wouldn't have a need to keep hiding, we could stay at my house. It's a drastic improvement over this cave. That, and we could go places. I'm already at least a little familiar with most of the countries." He had flown through his words quickly towards the end, and his face was actually a little flushed.

She looked at him for a long few moments before replying. "Well...The answer I have all depends on how badly things are at the palace...If things are all backed up there's certainly no way I'd be able to stay with you and keep up with all the things that need to be done...But if things were kept up to par then...Yes, I'd like that very much so. As long as I could go back at least once a week to help things get tidied up with all the paperwork and such...But...How would I explain to my Mom that I'd be staying with you? I can't tell her you'd be the one who captured me..." she said, so many thought zooming in and out of her head.

Jass nodded understandingly. "Don't worry, your mother doesn't need to know. Although assasinating people makes a good bit of money, it's not all I do. People don't always want someone dead, so I run a ship building business. It makes good money, especially since people have been traveling more. Not just for pleasure, but for business as well. And, since you're next in line for the thrown and all, you could find some advisors who know what they're doing, right?"

Adonia nodded. "True...I have been firing one and replacing another slowly. But how will I expliain to my Mother how I met you?" she asked no longer herself like she had previously, but him.

"Simple. You could say that I saved you or something. It's a lie, sure, but it WOULD make her feel much better about you spending time with a man you haven't known long, and aren't married to."

Adonia nodded. "True, very true. Alright then, as long as everythings okay, I'll go with you after getting new advisors, sound good?" she asked him with a smile.

Jass smiled broadly, and nodded wordlessly. His verbal response was a little delayed, and clearly he was thrilled at her decition. "Yes, thank you... And, I'm sorry for messing things up for you... Earlier..."

She smiled back at him and shrugged. "You were only doing your job." she said before finishing off her meal and then asking him a question. "How much longer do you think we'll have to stay here?" she wondered.

"That all depends... If you want to go back home right away, then we'll be here a while. If you wouldn't mind leaving the cave, but staying with me and away from those who would recognize you, then we can leave now if you wish."

Adonia looked at him. Either way she wasn't going to be able to go home for a bit. Besides, if she went with him, the atmosphere would be much more pleasent. "Let's go to your house...The palace can wait, besides, I'll be waiting any way."

Jass smiled, and set to work packing what they might need for the trip back to town. As he packed, he would occatioanlly apologize for the poor options he gave her, but insisted that it was neccisary.
