Jade had seen Nero's head shaking out of the corner of her eye and continued to look at the demon before her. It had to have been worse then this man was saying... "And how long must I obey you?"

"For the rest of your mortal life, of course. Now, I know that sounds bad and all, but think about it this way; it's not like information is all that you'll recieve. Ever wanted to get back at someone who did you wrong? I could get back at them for you, and no one would know it was me. It'd look like an accident. Any power you could crave, I could grant you. All that you'd be obligated to do is to get me something every now and then, or hep me with a spell that requires someone who can be solid longer than myself."

She glanced once more over at Nero. Information AND more power then she could ever possess in her own dreams to torment others if need be or worse? Well, that offer was too good to let go in her mind, being a power hungry Slytherin weither she liked it or not. She smiled. "Alright then, deal." she said as she held out her hand.

Nero looked down at the floor and shook his head sorrowfully. Yahtne smirked, "Good... Then it's agreed." He snapped his fingers and a strange feeling came over her, almost as if her body was being shared by someone else. When Yahtne spoke, it was as if she was hearing him INSIDE her head well as with her ears. "My name is Yahtma. I guess you'd call me a demon, and I'm a very old one. Long, long ago, I used to terrorize people everywhere. Know about the Black Plague? That was me. Most epidemics are my doing. Emperors, Kings and clergy members who become crazed and bloodthirsty were mortals who either made a deal with me before thinking or who allowed me to influence them. However, the Black Plague was the last thing that I managed to do. After that, a very large group of people managed to find me and subdue me. I won't tell you how, though, that would be stupid. They traveled to Egypt and imprisoned me inside of a carving on wall in a pyramid. They figured that no one would want to ruin the carvings, and for the longest time they were right. But then one day Nero wandering by, and I managed to dous his light. He tripped, and since he had a switch army knife tied around his neck on a very long chain, it went flying and scrapped right over the carving I was inside. It was disrupted enough for me to get out, but also for a pre-set trap to deploy. The people who created that tomb wanted their Pharaoh to be very safe, so many of the walls had acid behind them. The acd sprayed out, and I made Nero a deal that I would save him if he agreed to be my servant and host. He agreed, but the acid burns stayed. They act as a reminder of our deal, but even so he seems to forget occationally..."

Jade processed all this information with great interest. "So you made the Black Plague? I must say, you must be more powerful then Lord Voldermort himself..." she said, slightly regretting saying it the moment she had said it as she felt a sharp pain on her wrist where the Dark Mark was. He obviously already knew.

Yahtne laughed at her. "Well of course I am! He's only mortal, after all... He has a life span, no matter ow much he delays it. He's just a sad, rotting corpse waiting to crumble! He's no more powerful than the mummies I was intomed with."

Jade nodded wordlessly. She masked her pain with a straight face. She had gotten used to this pain by now. He called her so many times by this method that it really didn't hurt as badly as the very first time. This time he wasn't calling her as her arm felt as if it was burning and on fire, this time it was anger that she had betrayed him to go help another.

Yahtne looked at the place where her mark was located, "What compelled you to join him, anyway?"

She looked at him and then down at the mark. "Family." she said simply.

He shrugged slightly. "Fair enough. Now then... Was there anything else you wanted to know?"

She thought a moment. "So you can do absolutely anything?" she asked him.

He frowned at her. "If I could do anything, I wouldn't need the assitance of humans. But, as far as your standards go, I suppose it would be safe to say that I can do anything."

That led to yet another question. "Why do you need humans when you have so much power? Why can't you stay in..." she looked him over once again, "This form?" she asked.

"Well," he said, rolling his eyes, "I can't stay in this form because this is an entirely different realm than I normally inhabit, and I've been barred from returning to where I would normally reside. So I can't stay here. However, I can still exist within people, so I need hosts. One will do, but with two I won't have to worry much if one of you dies." Nero looked up a moment at this, but tried to not pay that statement any mind.

Jade's stomach rolled over as she heard this. "Dies? Like out of old age, right? " she asked slightly worriedly.
